• Speedmaster: Plastic Front, Sapphire Back, New Unworn

  I have come across the above watch new unworn with box and papers. Ideally I was hoping for a sapphire sandwich but this is what I found for $1995 from a trusted dealer. I do not know the street price for this particular version of the Speedmaster. Any help would be appreciated. Basically, is this a reasonable value or is it overpriced?Thanks in advance,PC........

  Though I've been a collector for a long time, I am familiarizing myself with Hamiltons now. I prefer only vintage mechanical movements. To me, anything with quartz in it isn't a watch. My question is the relative demand for a "Samson", a 1955 watch I haven't seen too often.
